Tonight’s games sees both home sides try to prevent going 3-1 behind to their higher-seeded opponents.
First up, the Milwaukee Bucks face the Boston Celtics at TD Garden. The series currently stands at 2-1 to the Bucks, with all three games seeing the benches emptied towards the end of the contests. Hopefully tonight we’ll see a closer game between these two. I’m expecting (and hoping) for a big game from Giannis Antetokounmpo!
The second game of the evening is between the reigning champions Golden State Warriors and the reigning MVP James Harden and his Houston Rockets. All three games in the series have been decided by six or fewer points. However, during the series Steph Curry hasn’t been anything like his usual self, averaging just 18 points per game and just over four rebounds and assists. Additionally, he missed a wide open dunk in the closing moments of the game 3 loss:
I’m expecting Curry to be out to show the world the real him tonight – I’ve backed Curry to score 40+ points tonight at 6/1 with Skybet.
I can’t see the Warriors dropping a second consecutive game against the Rockets tonight. When Golden State are at their best, it’s orchestrated more often than not by the leadership and passing ability of Draymond Green. I’ve backed Green to post a triple-double at 4/1 with Skybet. Green always teeters on recording triple-doubles and has managed two in his first nine playoff games this season. I have also backed Giannis and Green to both record triple-doubles at a massive 20/1.
Finally, to cover a potential continuation of Curry’s poor scoring – I’ve had a small wager on Green and Capela to post double-doubles, Curry under 25pts and GSW to win at 9/1.
Best of luck.
